Best Budget Graphics Cards for Call of Duty Ghosts

This is going to be a guide for someone who wants to play Call of Duty: Ghosts, but doesn’t have a large budget to buy the best possible video card available.

We’re going out outline some of the best graphics cards that will help you play COD Ghosts in above average frames rates without any computer lag.

For this guide, we will be using Amazon.com products due to low price and mostly free-shipping, but you can choose to order from newegg, tigerdirect, or at your local friendly computer hardware store (though this last option will be most expensive!)

For the graphics card, we’re going to stay in the $100 – $200 area and try to get the best possible card for the money. Your graphics card is possibly the most important part for gaming specifically.

While you can sometimes get away with a less powerful CPU or RAM, it’s important not to skim out on this part.

NVIDIA

In the PC System Requirements it’s recommended that your lowest possible cards are the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 and the ATI Radeon HD 5870 equivalent or better.

If you can afford to hit the upper-range of our budget, we will first recommend that you buy the EVGA GeForce GTX 660 SUPERCLOCKED 2048MB GDDR5.

This card will ensure that you can run Ghosts on higher levels than the minimum requirements ask for and won’t experience any lag due to your PC not being able to handle the game specs.

This card gives you a performance that’s similar to the Radeon HD 7870, and is even slightly better than the GeForce GTX 660 that we listed above. It will allow you to play Ghosts in a high resolution setting at a high frame rate.
