Call of Duty Ghosts at the Major League Gaming Pro Circuit
For the first time ever, Call of Duty Ghosts made its debut at the Major League Gaming Pro Circuit in Columbus, Ohio. There were a total of 108 teams competing for a $20,000 first place prize.
Game 1 started out with a group of 16 professional players that were voted in by spectators. As you can see below, Team Alpha came out on top with a 2-1 victory against Team Bravo. compLexity’s TeePee and EnVy’s Karma lead the way with outstanding performances.
Game 2 was a matchup between Kelevra Fuse and SoaR which ended with a surprising victory for Kelevra Fuse with a 3-0 ace. You can see the action below as well as a recap of the day.
When Game 3 came by with a Kaliber vs Epsilon match-up, Kaliber was able to pull off an impressive 19-10 win over Epsilon and a 3-2 overall judges decision and advance into Round 2 in the Championship Winners Bracket.
Overall it was an exciting first day for the Ghosts MLG Pro Circuit and 4 teams were able to make it out of the 96 team pileup and secure their place in the Championship Winners Bracket.
Primal, Skyline, eLevate Excess, and KG Adversity will advance forward in the Open Bracket.
