Call of Duty: Ghosts Onslaught DLC Brings New Maps!
The Onslaught downloadable content pack is finally available for the Call of Duty Ghosts gamers. It adds 4 new maps for Ghosts including Fog, Bayview, Containment and Ignition along with new weapons. The weapon DLC is two weapons based on the same receiver and stock. There is also new Extinction features coming along with the DLC.
The new map Fog is exactly what it sounds like, a dark foggy map that will leave you frightened of what may come up behind you.
If you complete a field order, you can become Michael Meyers and walk around attacking people with a new mask and an axe.
Bayview is a medium sized map in a boardwalk town. You can call in artillery strikes by completing field orders from the Navy ships off the coast.
The map is very dynamic. It includes great sniper spots that look over each other allowing clear views to the other side of the map. There are areas for close combat for SMG and assault rifles, and even a location for dropping sentry guns in a trolly and wheeling through the center of the map.
In the map Containment you have a Mexico based map that contains a lot of long-range battles. It’s divided by a river that runs through the center with a crossable bridge over the top.
There are different ways to take advantage of the layout of the map. You can battle it out across the river with sniper rifles or long-range assault rifles, or you can run across the bridge or through the bottom of the river to engage enemies in a close-range battle.
Completing a field order will allow you to call in motor strikes that detonates a missile on the map.
In the map Ignition, you may notice that it’s a remake of the Modern Warefare 2 map. It’s a small / mid size map that contains a Florida launch facility. Completing a field order ignites a test engine on the rocket and blows fire in a certain area of the map.
