Call of Duty Ghosts Zombies would have been better than Extinction?
Call of Duty: Ghosts was released last month and thousands of fans are wondering where the Call of Duty Ghosts Zombies were at. Well to put it bluntly, there was no zombie mode in Ghosts, because it was replaced with Extinction Mode. In some ways, Extinction is better than zombies, although I know many will disagree. In this article we’re going to tell you some of the things that makes Extinction fun and also some ways that Zombies were great that are lacking in Extinction mode.
Why Extinction May Be Better than Zombies
Extinction involves four players in a co-op game play. Your mission is to defeat an alien invasion through a series of intensive battles and objectives. You have to work together with your team to defeat the alien hoards and destroy each alien hive. You are given many different defensive measures to battle the enemy including things like turrets, drones, traps and even electric fences. One of the great things about Extinction is that it includes an XP leveling system along with different classes that you can word towards reaching. There are goals and objectives for you to achieve instead of the basic kill and destroy mode from zombies. Each game can bring an entirely new experience and has various ways that you can win with different upgrades and skills that can be obtained.
Extinction also brings an entirely new meaning to teamwork. While zombie took on a type of every man for themselves survival mode, to succeed at Extinction, you must work together in a strategic manner or else you won’t get very far. All-in-all, Extinction mode for COD Ghosts brings a new experience into the world of Call of Duty and it may take some time to catch on with the old zombies fans from previous Call of Duty versions. Give it a try, and we’re sure you’ll like it.
Why Call of Duty Ghosts Zombies May Have Been Great
Zombies was pretty epic to be honest and brought an entirely new dimension to playing Call of Duty when it was first released. It brought hours of fun to gamers who may have grown bored with the typical multiplayer game play. One great thing about Zombies is that the games had a different set of game lengths. There was always a greater variety to both the length of games and the maps and weapons that you could choose. If you were a better shot, then your Zombies games could have lasted for ages until you eventually were overrun.
Zombies and Call of Duty Ghosts would have been great, because COD was made to be a simple and fun game. Extinction can be a complicated game mode to get used to and many players are looking for the good old fashioned first person shooter that Call of Duty originally brought to the table.
What’s Our Conclusion about COD Call of Duty Ghosts Zombies vs Extinction?
We feel like each one has its own unique set of features that make it great. Zombies had its fun and we’re sure we’ll see it again in the future with other Call of Duty games, but we also find Extinction to be a ton of fun as well.
