What Was in Last Week’s Xbox One, PS4, 360 and PC Update?
Last week, on March 4th, there was a rather large update that ushered in a host of new features, stability updates, anti-cheat tool updates, eSports additions and some more additional fixes that continue to help improve the gameplay for Call of Duty Ghosts gamers.
Changes to Extinction Mode
One of the biggest changes, was to Extinction mode with the addition of a casual mode to local and solo matches. Hardcore mode was also added in this update as well as multiple fixes to the entire Nightfall edition. Some of the other smaller changes to Extinction included a reduction in the radius of explosive ammo, a fixed cash exploit and a few others that can be found in the official patch notes.
New Features to Call of Duty Ghosts
The latest features added to the game include the unlocking of the Free Fall map to all players. All of the challenges were also made into active operations at once. A few of the other small changes to the new features are below:
- Main Menu layout update.
- Update to Gold Camo tracking. Now shows how many camos left to unlock Gold.
- Added Hunted Free For All leaderboard.
- Added Weapon Operations to the Operations menu.
Stability updates included a small change that removed the tracker sight exploit on Warhawk that players have been complaining about. As for anti-cheat, it was simply an update to the tool. If you’re a part of the Call of Duty Ghosts eSports division, then you may want to make your way over to the official patch notes and figure out if any of the new changes and updates will effect your gameplay.
